Hi, I’m Taslima Akter Sumaiya, and I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. That deep bond with animals inspired me to turn my passion into a lifelong career in veterinary medicine.
Education
I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of California, Davis – School of Veterinary Medicine, one of the top-ranked vet schools in the world. My studies gave me a solid foundation in clinical care, animal nutrition, and science-based decision-making.
Professional Experience
I had the privilege of working with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), where I applied my veterinary skills to protect animal health and ensure food safety at a national level.
